Speaker’s Background | Biography
 
DeWayne Ables, founder and President of Pioneer IQ, guides the strategic growth of companies in the Design and Construction Industry.
 
Over the past 16 years DeWayne has evolved a unique “Growth Process” for Design and Construction Firms that uncovers the unique Purpose of an organization, aligns leadership and employees to deliver it and explores the market to find owners who need and desire it. 
 
His expertise in the A/E/C industry keeps pace with changes and trends through a research focus that fuels the ongoing study of hundreds of owners, architects, engineers, contractors and specialty subcontractors in the US.
 
These have been some challenging years in most industries first a shortage of projects now a shortage of people.  However, Ables and the Pioneer Team, through this unique process, were able to:

• Identify an emerging industry for a General Contractor and take them to ENR Top 10 in 27 months
• Double the size of a Design firm in the past 13 months by aligning their staff, projects and clients with their core purpose
• Increase backlog by 140% for a Design Build Firm by penetrating Healthcare and Senior Housing
   

Ables has also played a role in the growth of DBIA; he served for two years as PR Chair of the Mid-America Region, has completed one of the largest studies of Design Build professionals with over 550 companies participating and conducted a Regional Study of Owners in the Central US.
 
Prior to launching Pioneer IQ, DeWayne, developed and implemented a go-to-market plan for a fully integrated design build company that provided consulting, commercial real-estate, funding, design and construction services to a national market.
